The purpose of this Policy is to provide information, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations, about the processing that will be carried out with respect to personal data collected through the www.gtmotive.com website (hereinafter referred to as “web” or “website”).

Accessing and using the website and/or its sub-domains makes you a user of the website (hereinafter, “User(s)”) and implies knowledge and acceptance of all the conditions included in this Privacy Policy.

How do we collect personal data?

Users are hereby informed that, as a consequence of the use of certain features of this page, it is necessary to process certain personal data (hereinafter “Data”) for which GT MOTIVE will be responsible. In particular, the website will register the following information:

  • From the contact forms, information request forms and publication download forms (guides): the data (including, but not limited to, name, and e-mail address) that the User provides voluntarily through that form.
  • From the GT MOTIVE product demo request form: the User’s data (including, but not limited to, given name and family name(s) of the contact person, and e-mail address) required by that form.
  • From the newsletter subscription form: the data (including, but not limited to, e-mail address) that the User voluntarily provides to GT MOTIVE through that form.
  • From the forms of the subdomain talento.gtmotive.com: data, CV included, that the User provides voluntarily to take part in the selection processes carried out by GT MOTIVE.
  • From the forms of the subdomain marketing.gtmotive.com: the personal data (including, but not limited to, name and surname of the contact person, e-mail address) requested in the aforementioned forms.
  • Sending e-mails: the data (including, but not limited to, their e-mail address) that the User provides us by sending an email to @gtmotive.com addresses.
  • Sending communications through WhatsApp: the data (including, but not limited to, your telephone number) that the User provides us by sending communications to the technical and commercial support telephone numbers.

The use of the various forms and functions of the website is voluntary. However, some fields are necessary to correctly address your request (e.g. requests made through the active forms, or for the online purchasing process for products), the entry of data in the remaining fields is voluntary. The refusal of the User to provide the required information in the mandatory fields may prevent GT MOTIVE from attending to their query or request, or managing their contract.

 

Why do we process your data?

In general, the information that GT MOTIVE gets from Users through the website, will be processed to:

  1. Respond to and process requests made by Users through the forms that appear on the website and/or by e-mail and/or instant messaging.
  2. Manage the maintenance, development and monitoring of the contractual relationship that comes from the corresponding license agreement, as well as allowing the corresponding management of the payments and services arising from that relationship (including customer service).
  3. Allow the Users to access and manage their Account.
  4. With the User’s prior authorisation, send the newsletter and other commercial communications, by any means, including electronic means (SMS, email, etc.), about the products and/or services offered by GT MOTIVE.
  5. Manage the selection processes in which the User takes part as a candidate.

 

To whom will we communicate your data?

In general, GT MOTIVE does not plan to communicate your Data to third parties except, when applicable, if it is necessary to comply with the legal provisions aplicable to GT MOTIVE as the data controller.

 

What is the legal basis for the processing?

The legal basis for the processing of the data collected is the consent of the User, expressed by accepting this Privacy Policy, sending of an email to any of the addresses provided on the website or sending instant messages to any of the telephone numbers provided on the website.

Where applicable, if the User accepts the sending of commercial communications, the legal basis for sending commercial communications is the consent given by the User.

 

How long will we keep your data?

The data collected will be kept by GT MOTIVE only for the time needed to deal with and manage each specific request made by the User.

  • For the contact, customer services, request for demo, and downloading of publications forms, for the sending of emails to @gtmotive.com addresses and for the sending of instant messages to GT MOTIVE’s telephones: for the time needed to correctly deal with the request made by the User.
  • For subscriptions to the newsletter and other commercial communications: until the User revokes the consent given to receiving them.
  • For the forms of the subdomain talento.gtmotive.com: 1 year from its reception.

However, after this period, the data may be blocked and kept by GT MOTIVE for dealing with any possible responsibilities arising from the processing and only for the period for which those responsibilities exist. Once those periods have expired, the data will be deleted by GT MOTIVE.

 

What happens if I provide GT MOTIVE with third-party information?

 If the User provides data of third parties, the User shall, prior to the inclusion or communication of their data to GT MOTIVE, inform such persons about the content of this Privacy Policy. The User guarantees having obtained the previous consent of these third parties for the communication of their data to GT MOTIVE with the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

 

What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

The User may, at any time, revoke the consent given for the processing of their data.

The User may, at any time, request confirmation from GT MOTIVE as to whether their personal data is being processed and, if so, access to such data. Likewise, the User may request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Also, in certain circumstances, the User may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims. The User will also be able to object to the processing of their data under certain circumstances. GT MOTIVE will stop processing the data, except for legitimate compelling reasons or to defend themselves against any possible claims. Finally, when appropriate, the User may exercise the right to portability, to receive the data in electronic form or to have it sent to another entity.

Updates and changes to the Privacy Policy

GT MOTIVE reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, therefore Users are advised to review it periodically. When significant changes are made to this Privacy Policy, Users will be notified so they can accept it, by notices on the website, or by any other suitable means, according to the circumstances. 

Binding Corporate Rules

Allianz Binding Corporate Rules, which GT MOTIVE has subscribed, provide information on the rules governing the international transfer of personal data between the companies of the Allianz Group, of which GT MOTIVE is a part.
